Shoals Marine Laboratory hires two Seasonal Seabird Technicians to carry out duties contracted with NH Fish and Game annually related to monitoring, management, and research of threatened and endangered terns breeding on the Isles of Shoals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Protecting nesting terns from predation and human disturbances on White and Seavey islands. Recording all breeding metrics used by New Hampshire Fish and Game over the past 20 years and explore new metrics that might assist in restoration efforts throughout the 15-week season. Provide education instruction to Shoals Marine Laboratory students and interns visiting the tern colony. Assist with end-of-season New Hampshire Fish and Game deliverables.
