Job Responsibilities
This employee will assist with fish culture, harvest and production at Spring Stevens Fish Hatchery. They will also be expected to perform hatchery maintenance duties including grass cutting, necessary repairs and other routine duties. Minimum and Additional Requirements
A high school diploma and two (2) years of experience in wildlife or fisheries work or an associate degree in the technical sciences. Preferred Qualifications
Ability to operate and maintain a wide range of landscaping equipment, tractors and trucks. General knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and farming practices. Reliable with a flexible work schedule. Ability to lift heavy objects and swim efficiently. Familiarity with South Carolina’s freshwater fish species. Employer
