The ideal candidate will ensure a clean, safe, and customer-friendly environment while managing staff, equipment, and financial transactions. This role requires strong organizational skills, customer service expertise, and the ability to handle operational challenges efficiently.

Duties Facility Management :

Oversee daily operations, ensuring the laundromat is clean, well-maintained, and fully operational. Perform routine cleaning tasks and coordinate deep cleaning as needed.

Equipment Maintenance :

Monitor and maintain washing machines, dryers, and other equipment. Schedule regular maintenance and coordinate repairs with vendors to minimize downtime.

Customer Service :

Provide exceptional service to customers, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and assisting with machine usage or payment issues.

Staff Supervision :

Train, and supervise staff, including scheduling shifts, delegating tasks, and ensuring adherence to company policies.

Financial Oversight :

Manage cash handling, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records. Prepare daily sales reports and deposit funds securely.

Inventory Control :

Monitor and replenish supplies such as detergent, vending machine products, and cleaning materials.

Safety and Compliance :

Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with local health, safety, and licensing regulations. Conduct regular inspections to maintain standards.

Marketing and Promotions :

Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain customers, such as loyalty programs, discounts, or social media engagement.

Record Keeping :

Maintain logs for equipment maintenance, staff schedules, and customer feedback. Report operational issues or opportunities to upper management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred. Experience in retail or hospitality management; laundromat or similar operational experience is a plus. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a diverse team. Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor equipment repairs. Proficiency in basic financial tasks, including cash handling and record keeping. Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of local health and safety regulations is an advantage. Bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful but not required.
