Position Overview:

The Marina Operations Associate plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations at the marina. This position supports the marina management team with customer service, administrative tasks, dock operations, and overall facility upkeep. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with day-to-day marina operations, including coordinating vessel arrivals, slip assignments, and customer inquiries. Provide exceptional customer service to slip holders, guests, and transient boaters both in person and over the phone. Support administrative functions such as billing, contract preparation, recordkeeping, and inventory tracking. Perform light dockhand duties such as assisting with docking/undocking, fueling procedures, and general dock maintenance. Conduct regular inspections of docks, slips, equipment, and marina facilities to ensure safety, cleanliness, and readiness. Monitor and maintain marina store inventory, including stocking, sales transactions, and merchandising. Enforce marina rules, policies, and safety regulations professionally and respectfully. Communicate with vendors and service providers to coordinate deliveries, maintenance, and repairs. Assist with marina events, boat shows, and community activities as needed. Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of marina operations.

Qualifications:

Prior marina, hospitality, property management, or boating experience preferred but not required. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office; familiarity with marina management software a plus). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors in variable weather, and navigate docks safely. Customer-first attitude with a professional and friendly demeanor. Valid driver’s license. Boating knowledge or experience is a strong plus.

Work Schedule:

Part-time; weekend and holiday availability required. General Scheduling;

May-October:

2 full days a week,

November-April:

3 full days a week.
