Hospitalist Opportunities â Asheville, North CarolinaHospital ProfileHospital is a 34-bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital located in an 800+ bed regional referral center located in Asheville, North Carolina.
The LTAC specializes in the treatment of the most critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
Hospital is dedicated to the treatment of chronic acute care patients who generally stay beyond 25 days.
Hospitalist Program ProfileThe Hospitalist Team of two full-time physicians will be on site 8-12 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Each full time hospitalist will provide 168 to 192 hours of clinical professional medical services per month consisting of 12 and eight-hour shifts with rotating call at night.
While on site, the hospitalist team provides service response for codes.
In addition, the hospitalist team provides service response for consultations, inpatient episodic medical care, and procedures.
