QC Inspector Position Available In Jefferson, Alabama

System One is looking for an experienced Quality Control inspector for a direct QC Inspector role at a facility in Birmingham, AL. QC Inspector + Inspect nuclear safety related steel products to verify conformance to procurement documents and applicable specifications. + Inspect nuclear safety related steel products to verify compliance with internal processing documents and customer requirements. + Calibrate and use measuring equipment used in inspection. + Perform inspection and surveillance activities at remote locations when needed (i.e., occasional travel as needed.) + Review and interpret ASTM and ASME material specifications. + Review and approve vendor certification documents. + Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve issues as needed. + Document nonconforming material conditions. + Work in accordance with specified instructions, procedures, and drawings.
