Summary This position is mainly responsible for the inspection of completed production vehicles for quality related issues. Responsibilities Primary Vehicle Inspection Inspect exterior of new vehicles for defects and damage Inspect assigned interior features of new vehicles for defects and damages Properly identify all quality defects and damages on units coming down their line Secondary Document & Report all defects Properly identify all defects and damages Document all quality/damage issues, in order to track the number of issues and whether they are increasing or decreasing Report any increase of the same defects to the Supervisor Report any recurring issues to the Supervisor, so HMMA can be made aware and corrective action can be made Assist in other area’s when needed. Skills Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow established procedures and safety practices Ability to work independently and within a team structure Education & Experience High School Diploma/G.E.D Must hold a valid state-issued driver’s license without restrictions Physical Requirements Drive Walk Lift up to 10lbs Carry up to 10lbs Push/pull Bend/stoop Climb Balance Kneel Squat/crouch Stand Working and Environmental Conditions This position works in a plant manufacturing/warehouse setting.
