About the Position
This position is with the Mississippi Forestry Commission in Area 36, with duties and responsibilities in Claiborne, Copiah, and Jefferson Counties. Second-level professional Forestry position accountable for planning, organizing, and developing forest protection, forest management or administrative services programs. Jobs at this level prepare detailed forest management plans for landowners; mark timber; assist in locating timber markets; and supervise prescribed burning activities.
