Treating Plant Operator Location:
Pine Bluff, AR full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity We’re seeking a dedicated Treating Plant Operator to join a growing team in a mill setting. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity , with a Monday through Friday schedule and occasional weekend work. Apply with Express Employment Professionals to get started.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate treating equipment, including pumps, valves, and related software Mix chemical treatments and monitor processes to meet specifications Operate a forklift safely and efficiently Complete required paperwork accurately Follow safety and environmental procedures at all times Work with the Quality Coordinator to maintain product standards Participate in safety meetings and required training Maintain detailed records of treatments and processes Follow proper washout and changeover procedures between treatments
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required Forklift experience required Comfortable with computer systems, including spreadsheets and email Strong understanding of measurements and basic math Ability to identify wood species, grades, and heartwood percentages Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights up to 50 ft Must be able to pass a respirator screening and wear a respirator when required Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally Willing to work in varying weather conditions (indoor/outdoor environment)
