What You’ll Do:

Applying and removing dressings, removing sutures/staples, applying and removing casts and splints. Exhibits aseptic techniques in dressing change, removal of sutures or staples. Responsible for assembling, maintaining, and adjusting orthopedic devices and equipment such as various braces of their specialty. Instruct patient in the proper care of casts, dressings, braces, and other support devices as necessary for the individual’s treatment. Enters charges, required patient information, and other data into the computer in an accurate and timely manner according to departmental guidelines.

What Your Qualifications Should Be:

High School Diploma or equivalent Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or EMT/Paramedic experience
