Job Description

Pool Technician Dr. PoolLittle Ocala, FL Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of swimming pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning properly. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. We are looking to hire our future route manager. Previous experience is neogitable. What isn’t neogitable is honesty, being a hard/thorough worker, and an independent self starter. Responsibilities Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces. Inspect pool equipment for functionality and safety; conduct necessary repairs or replacements. Maintain chemical balance in pools by testing water quality and adding appropriate chemicals. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients regarding their pool needs. Document service visits and maintain records of repairs, maintenance performed, and chemical treatments. Stay updated on industry best practices for pool maintenance and safety standards. Requirements Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in pool maintenance is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and equipment repair methods. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites.
