Summary:

Rosen Hotels & Resorts® is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Assistant Jr Golf Pro to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service in alignment with Rosen Standards while efficiently managing transactions and maintaining the golf facility’s cleanliness and organization. This role involves extensive walking, bending, answering phones, and performing various physical tasks. The Assistant Jr Golf Pro will also handle food, stock coolers, and assist in the overall operation of the golf facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding guest service by greeting and assisting customers, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Efficiently process payments by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits, and issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change as necessary.
  • Accurately identify prices of goods and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners.
  • Answer phone calls and assist guests with inquiries, tee time bookings, and general information.
  • Perform physical tasks such as stocking coolers, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning the facility to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Handle food items according to safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and ensure the golf shop and surrounding areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Lift and transport items up to 40 lbs. as needed throughout the shift.
  • Collaborate with the golf team to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff, guests, and the general public.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to engage in physical tasks, including walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs. for the duration of the shift.
  • Must be able to legally work in the USA.
    Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
