Specialist, Ammunition Surveillance JP Logistics & Consulting Fort Eisenhower, GA 30905 JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a full time Specialist, Ammunition Surveillance to support the EAGLE contract at Fort Eisenhower GA in support of Maintenance, Supply and Transportation.

PM Job Summary:
Under general supervision, conduct munitions surveillance inspections to ensure reliability and serviceability of munitions processed at the ASP. Inspect all ASP storage facilities to ensure compliance with storage standards. Shall assist as required in proper marking and labeling of all ammo containers. Responsible for documenting and compiling inspection results for reports to be processed through the Munitions History Program data base.
Task:
Inspect AE laden conveyances including required blocking and bracing, to ensure the load’s suitability for transport. Inspect AE storage locations at the ASP to ensure compliance with applicable explosives safety criteria, including, among other matters, storage compatibility, and correct computation of explosives safety quantity distances. Conduct surveillance of customers to ensure that personnel are properly trained in accordance with requirements Take prompt action to control any hazard. If a dangerous item or situation is encountered take action to shut down all operations in the immediate area. Evacuate personnel to a safe site. Report the incident immediately through the proper chain of command. As required, call explosive ordnance disposal or other authorized personnel for help in eliminating the hazard. Resume operations only after the hazard has been eliminated. Ensure hazards and explosives safety risks are formally identified, controlled or accepted Prepare, process and maintain records and reports to cover all surveillance activities. Observe, inspect, and investigate munitions and components for serviceability Monitor storage, handling, and maintenance operations and recommends changes to enhance the safety and operational effectiveness. Inspect munitions to determine quality, safety, and deterioration for incoming and outgoing shipments for compliance with existing instructions and regulations. Maintain munitions drawings and specifications files and indexes. Ensure that surveillance functions are performed in accordance with the applicable Training Manuals and SBs.

At least five years of DOD Quality Assurance experience with three years in AE handling
Skills:
Must be able to read and comprehend military regulations and requirements to job duties. Must be knowledgeable in basic use of MS Word and Excel Certificate, License, Registration, etc.: Must be capable of completing all certification training as required by the LRC Ammunition Board and IAW applicable current regulation as a term of employment. Such ammunition certification courses will include but not limited to Ammo-4, Ammo-12, Ammo-28, Ammo-31, Ammo-43, Ammo-54, Ammo-60, Ammo-62, and Ammo-82. Possess valid state driver’s license and obtain a military driver’s license within 30 days. Will be required to obtain a material handling license and military vehicle license up to 5-TON capacity. Specific positions may require a security clearance and/or a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent (GED). Must have basic technical training certification in the field of Ammunition Handling and Management.
