Job Description
- Hours are 7am to 3:30pm M-F
- Associate One is an entry level position.
The purpose of associate one is to dismantle the machine of its setup specific parts. This includes tooling, wheels, directional switches etc. Also associate one is to clean the machine of any and all debris or waste picked up from most recent job. The associate one position has in place a checklist of operations and areas of the seam in which must be inspected, checked, or tested.
Essential Duties and Responsiblities include but not limited to
- Check for overall machine damage
- Check for machine burrs or sharps
- Machine cleanliness
- Ensure motor runs well
- Inspect motor brushes (replace with new brushes if old ones are bad
- Inspect motor timer
- Inspect electrical plug
- Inspect power cord (if applicable
- Ensure pivot shaft is not bent or damaged
- Check chain tension
- Lube chain
- Remove dust cover to inspect and grease brass gears
- Check sprockets for wear and/or broken teeth
- Remove tooling and shims from axles
- Inspect turnbuckles
- Clean axle threads
- Check for excess axle movement
- Clean all machine threads
- Ensure all bolts/screws are tight
- Check set screws
- Check for/tighten any loose block housings
- Ensure swing arms are tight
- Ensure main shaft spins freely
- Check for gears backlash
- Inspect machine handles
- Remove debris from Pelican case
- Clean Pelican case (remove all stickers)Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and able to stand, walk, and bend all day.
The rate of pay will depend on applicants experience and knowledge of basic tools.
Pay can increase based on experience. Benefits offered. Company pays medical insurance premiums for employees after 60 days.
