The West Chinden Family Medicine Clinic is nowhiring for a personable and hard-working part-time MedicalAssistant!

Position Summary & Highlights:

This MA position will support a family medicine provider. You will also work with other MAs and RNs to support 5 otherProviders in a great workplace culture. You will have the opportunity to use a variety of your MAskills and will see a variety of patients. West Chinden Family Medicine provides convenient care close tohome for Eagle and Meridian residents.

What Will You Do:

In addition to primary MA duties, you will also performphlebotomy, administer immunizations, and prep injections. You will assist with minor procedures, complete POC and othertests, and also complete tasks and orders in the task inbox. An ideal candidate will be easy going, enjoy working in afast-paced and strong team environment. You will also have effective communication skills, areflexible, has a positive attitude, and enjoys working independentlyand in a team.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week, either 4

• 10 hour shifts, Mondays,Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays (Wednesdays off) OR 3 full-days and 2half-days, Mondays
• Fridays, 6:30am
• 4:30pm.

Half days would end around 12:30pm. Shift start and end time may vary based on provider and clinicneeds.

MAMinimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire. MA certification required within 90 days of hire from one ofthe following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies: American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA) American Medical Technologists (RMA) National Healthcare Association (CCMA) National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA) National Association of Health Professionals (NRCMA) American Medical Certification Association (CMAC) National Phlebotomy Certification Examination (NPCE MA)

New Graduates:

1) MA certificate of completion required from anaccredited program or school. 2) Completion of either a 100-hour MAexternship or 6 months MA experience in lieu of the externshiphours even with MA certification. Medical Assistant with

Experience:

1 Year of MA experience ORCurrent MA Certification OR obtain or renew certification within 90days from hire from approved credentialing agencies listedabove. Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification fromeither AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required athire.

• Obtaining the MA certification typically requires completingan MA Program or working as a Medical Assistant for at least 1year.
