Job Description
Position Summary:
Sealer sands drawer boxes, veneer, molding, doors and cabinet components while adhering to established work instructions, quality specifications, and safety policy.
Essential Job Functions
- Uses small hand tools and equipment to sand components in accordance with work instructions
- Organizes work to consistently meet production goals and quality specifications.
Follows all production systems inventory rules and provides accurate monthly inventory countsAccurately interprets and uses a tape measure to ensure production specifications are metTrains other employees in specific operations, as necessaryPerforms other duties / tasks that may be required to meet daily production goalsIdentifies, creates and implements process improvements using appropriate chain of command

- Ability to read tape measure and other measuring devicesFollow written standardized job instructions and proceduresSkills to operate production machinery with various controls and adjustments using a variety of simple toolsKnowledge of how the operation performed or equipment used in this job affects the product.
