Summer Camp Nurse (RN) –

Camp Anne & The Lodge, Upstate New York Are you a Registered Nurse looking for a fulfilling, low-stress nursing opportunity in a beautiful summer camp setting? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team at our two upstate New York summer camps : Camp Anne and The Lodge. If you’re a school nurse or looking for a chance to reconnect with the joy of nursing in a warm, supportive environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

Review camper medical records and collaborate with parents and staff to develop personalized health plans. Ensure the health and safety of all campers and staff throughout the camp experience. Provide medical care for the camp community, including first aid and sick calls. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, treatments, and incident reports. Administer medications as prescribed. Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment. Perform daily sick calls and support the overall well-being of the camp population.

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) with an active New York State License. Current CPR and First Aid certification (can be provided if you do not have these prior to camp). Completion of New York State Mandated Infection Control and Child Abuse Prevention curriculum. Recent annual PPD test . Immunization records and physician statement of health. Available for a six-day work week (shifts are negotiable). Live-in position (must reside on campgrounds, unless living locally).

The camp runs for approximately 10 weeks and is divided into sessions based on age groups: Sessions 1-3: Adults (ages 21-65) Sessions 4-5: Teens (ages 13-21) and Children (ages 5-12) Camp sessions begin ASAP For more information on the summer camp schedule, please visit:
