Fireworks Technician/Crew Member Position Available In Washington, Rhode Island

Fireworks Technician/Crew Member Ocean State Pyrotechnics, Inc. 26 Woody Hill Road, Hope Valley, RI 02832 Ocean State Pyrotechnics is a fireworks display company seeking fireworks/pyrotechnic technicians. This is an entry level position. We are looking for people interested in pyrotechnics, who are eager to learn, with no prior experience necessary. You would be on show locations assisting with the set up, firing, and break down of professional fireworks displays and pyrotechnics events.

Required Qualifications:

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Must have a reliable and working phone. Must be flexible and available to work weekends. Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible to work in the United States. Must have a vehicle or reliable ride to work on locations. Must be able to lift equipment and carry at least 50 lbs. Must be able to pass a homeland security background check. Preferred Qualifications Able to work on a team and follow directions. Able to work outdoors for long periods of time in extreme heat/cold temperatures. Being handy with a hammer or tools is a plus! Work locations will be in RI, MA, and CT. This work is highly concentrated in the summer months with other opportunities in the Spring/Fall. Availability July 1st through July 5th is important. All training is hands on at fireworks displays where you will be taught by some of the companies leading professionals.
