QUILT MENDER REPORTS TO
Texturing Production Manager PURPOSE:
To inspect and correct finished quilted products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Run mender machines to spec and quality standards
- Correct quality concerns
- Keep work area clean
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work safely
- Ability to read and write and follow directions
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
- Ability to understand and follow operator standard work procedures
- Ability to run machines efficiently
- Ability to troubleshoot and correct machine issues
- Good communication skills

Ability to sit while sewing 100% of day
- Moving Move freely throughout the texturing department 100% of day
- Push Use a broom and dust pan. 50% of day
- Pulling Ability set rolls on pneumatic lift table 10% of the day
- Access Ability to use step ladders and stationary ladders 50% of day

Bending:
Ability to pick up objects from the floor. 50% of day
- Walking Ability to walk through the plant to get to work station, meeting rooms, break area, and to perform audits. 10% of day

Ability to work around polyester, nylon and acetate 100% of day
