Job Summary and Qualifications HCA Physician Services is responsible for several lines of business, including Physician Practices, Hospital-based physician services, Urgent Care Services, Graduate Medical Education, Lab Services, and Anesthesia Service Line. Physician Services currently has 16,000+ providers and 2000+ physician practices. Physician Services is growing rapidly in the Urgent Care setting, with 240+ Urgent Care Clinics. The Graduate Medical Education program is the largest in the U.S. with over 6,000 residents. Physician Services ITG is responsible for handling the demands of such rapid growth and the IT infrastructure required. Physician Services ITG has a centralized shared service model supporting the lines of business within each service line, such as Financial Services, Accounting, Human Resources, Information Protection and Security, Ethics & Compliance, Quality and Government Programs, Coding Operations and HIM, Ambulatory EHR, Management Services, Marketing and Digital Services, Physician Development, and Practice Operations. Job Summary The Integration Analyst II is a part of the Physician Services organization of HCA Healthcare. This technically-focused position within the Integration Development team is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting interfaces across the enterprise. This goal will be achieved by working with cross-functional business teams and utilizing BizTalk, Cloverleaf, HL7 Standards, Microsoft SQL Server, and other tools. The Integration Analyst II is responsible for interface creation, interface support, administrative tasks, and managing the lifecycle of interface development projects at CSG. The Integration Analyst II will collaborate with Business Customers, Department Heads, and Project teams, as well as support and develop subject matter knowledge for HL7 integration solutions. The Integration Analyst II will ensure the effective design, build, deployment, documentation and maintenance of interfaces within the environment.
Experience/ Requirements:
Technical SQL Server, Oracle or other DBMS required. Experience in other
ANSI SQL
languages (e.g., MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres) required. Experience in HL7 messaging standards. (ADT, DFT, ORU, ORM, etc.) preferred. Experience in data acquisition, data cleansing and parsing required. Experience in data analysis required. Good understanding of information systems that support an enterprise infrastructure ( Networking Terminology, Servers, Hardware, Databases) Experience with code repositories such as GitHub and TFS. Soft Strong analytical and design skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Participate in strategic design, construction and implementation of solutions in the EMR environment. This includes selecting, gathering specifications for, designing and implementing solutions for consumers throughout the enterprise. Works to build technical knowledge by taking advantage of internal team mentoring and attending professional development opportunities. Contributes to the development of goals and objectives related to the business. Troubleshooting activities to resolution with limited supervision. Self-driven learner of technology and programming. Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Ability to support break-fix scenarios 24×7 , which are often critical to patient safety. Works independently with limited supervision.

Technical:
Knowledge of Clinical and Financial Applications. Knowledge of EMR or Practice Management Systems such as E-Clinical Works, Medicity, Epic, GE Centricity, NextGen, etc. Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, CCDA, or FHIR preferred. Actively participates in application design sessions. Data professional with understanding of data tools and concepts; ability to resolve a wide range of highly-complex issues in creative ways. Experience with cloud-based data solutions or architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure). Experience in
FHIR API
standards Experience in scripting languages such as Powershell, Python, UNIX shell scripting, etc. Experience using Interface engines (Cloverleaf, BizTalk, Mirth, etc.) Experience using HL7 testing and analysis tool such as HL7spy. Soft Demonstrates continual learning and improvement of knowledge and expertise in the health industry data standard as well as industry applications and tools. Ability to create clear and concise documentation on design and operational topics. Actively builds strong bonds and relationships with all customers and department heads. Encourages and guides staff to be customer-focused. Partners with colleagues and customers to achieve meaningful discussions regarding data outputs and feedback on usage activities to improve Data and Analytics output.
