Full Job Description Job Summary:

Seascape Ornamental Gardening is seeking a skilled and experienced Garden Route Foreman to join our family. As a Garden Route Foreman, you will be the lead technician and truck driver who manages a highly detailed garden maintenance route and will oversee a small team of highly experienced gardeners, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and leadership throughout the workplace. Our owner is involved with daily operations and will help to direct daily client requests. Seascape OG proudly maintains some of the most beautiful landscapes in Brevard County and is looking for a team member who is passionate about horticulture and landscaping. Your expertise in lawn care and gardening will contribute to making Seascape Ornamental Gardening great!

Duties:

Supervise and train other gardening team members Driving a large truck equipped with a dump bed and trailer Perform various gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, and watering Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, string trimming, and blowing Trimming and shaping hedges and shrubs Palm tree trimming and other various arbor care Pulling weeds and removing debris from yards and garden beds Ensure irrigation systems are functioning effectively

Skillsets We Look For:

Strong leadership skills Ability to build and maintain friendly and effective workplace relationships Experience with lawn care tools & equipment Advanced knowledge of plants, trees, grass types, etc. Knowledge of plant health and how to care for plants Tree trimming and arbor care Experience in operating lawn care machinery mowers Mechanical skills Polite and professional customer service skills Familiarity with landscape design principles to assist with garden layouts

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license 3+ years of experience in lawn and garden maintenance Reliable transportation Hardscape/paver experience is a plus

Work Hours:
