Landscaper/Foreman Lawn, Garden and Landscape 4446 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32207 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead our landscaping team in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for landscape design, lawn care, and groundskeeping. This role requires hands-on experience in various landscaping tasks, including tree care, irrigation, and garden maintenance. As a Landscape Supervisor, you will oversee projects from start to finish while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Experience in paver systems, pergola construction, lighting, tree planting, retaining wall, and drainage Duties Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Manage a team of landscape technicians, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance. Plan and execute landscape projects, including planting, lawn care, tree care, and irrigation installation. Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition for all landscaping activities. Conduct regular inspections of job sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Communicate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide recommendations for improvements. Train team members on best practices in landscape maintenance and groundskeeping techniques. Build strong relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service and addressing any concerns promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape management or a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of lawn care practices, tree care techniques, and irrigation systems. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team effectively. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Valid driver’s license is required; experience operating landscaping equipment is a plus. A passion for gardening and creating aesthetically pleasing outdoor environments is highly desirable.
