As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Field Supervisor to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
As a Bilingual Field Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing ecosystem restoration operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, possess strong leadership skills, have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record, and have a background in landscaping or related field. Essential duties consist of invasive species control tasks, including herbicide application utilizing backpack sprayer, brush cutting and piling brush, installing plants, utilization of hand tools, utilization of small gas-powered machinery (chainsaws, weed whackers, walk-behind mowers), ATV driving, and truck and trailer combination driving.
Responsibilities:
Must have the ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions. Supervise, coordinate, and perform variety of duties related to invasive species removal and ecosystem restoration activities. Manage and lead a team of field workers, providing guidance and support. Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets company standards. Communicate effectively with both English and Spanish-speaking team members. Collaborate with project managers to implement and adjust work schedules as needed. Maintain accurate records of work completed, chemicals and materials used, and time spent on projects. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 years of experience in landscaping or related field preferred. Leadership and supervisory experience. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written ideally). Valid driver’s license is a must. Clean driving record. Experience with towing a trailer. Drug free workplace. Applicator licenses (e.g., herbicide applicator license) are a plus. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
