Job Description

Landscape Enhancement Manager 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Bonita Springs, FL 34135 Vision Landscape Services is seeking a dedicated Landscape Enhancement Manager to join our team. Must be familiar with and able to perform all aspects of landscape and irrigation components, including: estimating, production, scheduling, purchasing, customer service, training, etc. Must keep the Director of Landscape Operations apprised of progress (or lack thereof) on all jobs. The Landscape Enhancement Manager also interfaces with company Client Service Managers, Crew Leaders, and our Office Team.

Requirements:

Has at least one to three years of estimating experience in a related field (irrigation installation, commercial or residential installation, commercial or residential maintenance). Has a minimum of a high school diploma. (Associate (AA) degree preferred. Must have plant knowledge of South Florida plants. Able to comprehend and implement Pro-Landscape Software and Aspire. Must be proficient in organizing shared calendars through our CRM Software (Aspire). Excellent skills in both oral and written communications. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Highly proficient in MS Office, G-Suite, and Estimating Software. Familiar with Notice to Owner (NTO) filings. Exceptional computer and typing skills. Essentials Duties Include, but not limited to: o Assists Construction and Enhancement teams in the field when necessary. o Continually informs and updates the Director of Landscape Operations as to job progress (or lack thereof). o Continually coordinates with company Client Service Managers as to job progress (or lack thereof). o Oversees the production of up to three jobs simultaneously. o Responsible for managing the daily dispatching of enhancement and new construction jobs. o Responsible for supervising jobs are kept on schedule and on budget. o Looks for extras and converts them into change orders when appropriate. o Ensures all change orders are processed correctly. o Interfaces with subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate completion of their phase of projects. o Ensures that company production standards are met through the use of Aspire. o Evaluates equipment utilization and recommends future purchases to the President. o Ensures that vendor delivery tickets and all paperwork are processed and turned in daily using Aspire purchasing assistant. o Ensures that job cost reports are properly analyzed and disseminated to Team Leaders. o Assists in the development of training, and trains field crews. o Able to read and install all plans. o Able to operate a transit. o Performs estimates overflow in peak season for Client Services Managers as needed. o Establishes estimating procedures and standards for all divisions. o Ensures the maintenance and updating on a daily basis of the Bid Board for respective divisions. o Ensures that labor burden, overtime factor, and sales tax percentages are accurate for the Enhancement division. o Ensures all bidding assemblies and production rates are accurate for the Enhancement division. o Communicates both in writing and verbally with clients regarding the status of all proposals and any possible problems/issues. o Sends Notice to Owners (NTO’s) to projects that exceed $5,000.00. o Develops, maintains and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, scope, and research. o Establishes parameters for analyzing and reviewing all bids/proposals for construction and arbor prior to submission to clients. o Sourcing, acquiring, and coordinating the delivery of plant and other material. o Ability to negotiate with suppliers and vendors to include. o Sourcing new suppliers if needed. o Manage relationships with key suppliers. o Look for plant purchase opportunities online. o Engage in relationship building and nursery site visits. o Meet with the vendor when plants are dropped off and return if not acceptable material. o Interfaces with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of job materials.
