Job Summary:

The Landscape Foreman is responsible for leading a crew of landscapers in various outdoor projects, ensuring that work is completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of landscaping techniques, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety. Experience running a loader and skid steer.

Foreman Qualifications:

Crew Leadership:

Lead and supervise a team of landscapers in daily activities, ensuring tasks are assigned and completed efficiently.

Project Management:

Ability to read and understand landscape plans. Oversee the execution of landscape projects, including planting, irrigation, hardscaping, and maintenance, while adhering to project timelines.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all work meets quality standards and client expectations. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues promptly.

Equipment Maintenance:

Supervise the maintenance and repair of landscaping equipment. Ensure that all tools and machinery are in good working order and used safely.

Safety Compliance:

Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure work environment. Conduct regular safety meetings and training for the crew.

Client Communication:

Interact with clients professionally and address any concerns or questions they may have. Provide updates on project progress and timelines.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in landscaping, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of Florida’s native plants, climate, and landscaping practices.

Leadership skills:

Ability to motivate and lead a team, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain a positive work environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of irrigation systems, pest control, and landscaping equipment. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (REQUIRED) Experience running a loader and skid steer Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a landscaping or construction setting. Familiarity with the safe transport of landscaping materials and equipment. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading. Good communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform minor repairs.
