Horticulture Full Job Description Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Landscape Foreman to lead and manage landscape installation and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape construction, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage crews, schedules, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead landscape crews in daily operations.
• Coordinate and execute landscape installation and maintenance tasks including planting, hardscaping, irrigation, grading, and turf installation.
• Read and interpret landscape plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Ensure quality control on all job sites, adhering to company standards and project requirements.
• Manage materials, labor, and time efficiently to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and safety practices.
• Maintain accurate job records including timesheets, material usage, and project progress reports.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of landscape construction or maintenance experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, drainage, and hardscape construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Truck and Trailer and machine experience preferred.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
