As a Forman, you will oversee the daily operations of your crew, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining safety standards and quality workmanship. A Irrigation Foreman is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems. This includes leading a crew, planning and coordinating projects, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely. They also handle equipment and inventory management. Key responsibilities of an Irrigation Foreman typically include:
Leading and Supervising:
Directing and guiding a team of laborers, assigning tasks, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to high standards.
Project Management:
Planning , executing, and delivering irrigation projects, including overseeing repairs and installations.
Technical Skills:
Installing , troubleshooting, and repairing irrigation systems, including valves, electrical components, timers and the ability to read and understand blueprints.
Equipment and Inventory:
Managing company trucks, equipment, and tools, including their maintenance, cleanliness, and storage.
Safety:
Ensuring crew members are following safe work practices and operating equipment correctly.
Communication:
Communicating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Training:
