$36.9K – $45.3K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Mid-level Full Job Description Job Duties Oversees and performs on-going course maintenance activities. Completes minor repair on equipment (when appropriate). Maintains small-tool equipment inventory. Trains and supervises personnel in on-going course maintenance activities. Selects, trains, supervises, schedules and evaluates assigned personnel. Maintains tee and green supply inventory. Performs safety orientation and on-going safety training for all department staff. Helps to monitor staff work quality, progress and safety on the property for the golf course superintendent and assistants. Assists with all aspects of golf course set-up. Applies fertilizer and pesticides at the direction of the golf course superintendent or assistants. Attends daily staff meetings. Works weekends and Holidays, as required, to maintain the course and grounds in proper order. Performs any other appropriate tasks assigned by the golf course superintendent or assistants. Expectations Must be enthusiastic, organized and self-motivated. Have a good understanding of the game of golf and its rules. Understand that we are charged to provide the highest quality golfing experience in the state. Works weekends, holidays and special events as deemed necessary by the GCS and in accordance with the Club’s schedule. Maintains a safe environment for all golf maintenance and landscape personnel. Maintain and recommend areas of improvement anywhere on or around the property. Responsible for training operators on proper cleaning and care of equipment.
