Horticulture Full Job Description Job Summary:

Lemontree Healthcare is seeking an experienced, reliable, and motivated Landscaping Maintenance Foreman to lead a crew in maintaining high-quality landscapes for multiple hospital properties. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid background in horticulture and landscape maintenance, and a commitment to safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance operations with a crew of 2-4 team members Ensure all scheduled work is completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and small machinery Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, planting, mulching, fertilizing, and irrigation troubleshooting Read and execute site plans, maintenance schedules, and work orders Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members on proper techniques and safety procedures Maintain accurate records of labor, materials used, and site conditions Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding job progress and issues Inspect job sites for quality control and resolve any issues proactively Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and environmental regulations

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in landscape maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role Strong knowledge of horticultural practices, plant identification, and landscape maintenance techniques Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and procedures. Proficiency in operating landscaping tools and machinery Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus) Excellent communication and leadership skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor (lifting 50 lbs.+, bending, kneeling, standing for long periods).
