Golf Course Foreman HHC Seagate Hamlet LLC Delray Beach, FL Job Details Full-time $22 an hour 13 hours ago Qualifications Mid-level Windows Computer skills Communication skills Time management Full Job Description About the Role As a member of the Golf Course Maintenance Team, the Course Foreman—alongside the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent—plays a key role in coordinating the daily operations of the turfgrass management staff. This role supports the consistent achievement of Seagate’s high standards in member, guest, and associate satisfaction. The Course Foreman must lead by example, taking a proactive and hands-on approach to all matters related to the Golf Course Maintenance Team. While this is an hourly position and not directly responsible for hiring or termination decisions, the Course Foreman will provide input and make recommendations to the Management Team regarding the hiring of new associates and will advise leadership on any equipment misuse or associate policy violations observed. What You’ll Do Mentor and support the development of staff across key areas, including equipment operation, irrigation maintenance and operation, spraying techniques, and safety training. Supervise and help execute special projects to support course standards and improvements. Foster a positive and motivating work environment that promotes teamwork and pride; lead by example. Communicate daily operational needs and updates clearly and effectively to direct staff. Collaborate with the Management Team to reinforce and communicate the goals and expectations of Seagate Country Club to both new and current associates. Assist in relaying and organizing daily, weekly, and monthly task planning and crew assignments. Monitor moisture levels across the course—including greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and trees—to ensure optimal turf health. Perform other duties as assigned. Able to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 250lbs. Knowledge & Skills Able to respond to common inquiries or support needs from team members and guests. Demonstrates problem-solving ability, including collecting and analyzing data and drawing sound conclusions. Proficient in computer use, preferably within a PC and Windows-based operating environment. Work Environment While performing this job, the employee is: Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions. Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
