Landscape Technician Position Available In Volusia, Florida

Landscape Technician Tree of Life Landscape and Design DeLand, FL 32724 Tree of Life Landscape and Design is looking for the right person to join our team. We are a smaller size landscape installation company with opportunity for growth within the company. Typical jobs will include the installation of paver patios, walkways, and retaining walls, as well as the installation of landscape designs and borders, low-voltage lighting, rocks, mulch, and plants. The job requires excellent physical health and ability to wheelbarrow, lift 80 pounds, and work in the elements. As well as attention to detail, and the ability to use various tools to complete the job. As a smaller team, each person is given more responsibility than a larger company. You will have the opportunity to take control of a portion of a project and manage it through to completion. Taking ownership of your role will allow for the discussion of more pay. We love what we do and take pride in being the best at it. If you are looking to further your career as a landscaper and learn more on the installation side, this is the place for you. Must have a minimum of 6 months landscape install experience, NOT the same thing as maintenance. We do not do lawn maintenance. Ability to lay sod, mulch, install edging, plant plants, perform minor irrigation repair, and ability to see the general flow of a landscape install is required. Those with hardscape experience are encouraged to apply. That would be installation of pavers, walls, and borders. Most jobs are located in the Deland and Daytona area, in higher end residential areas. We meet each morning at the job site. Work week is Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:30/5:50, with Fridays off.
