Senior Water Management Team Leader Location:
Guyton, GA, 31312
Job Purpose:
The Senior Water Management Team Leader will be responsible for leading a crew in water management maintenance and repair. The incumbent will ensure that the work is completed while focusing on the quality required by the company and training new Water Management Team Leaders/Members for the company.
Responsibilities:
1.
Ensure Safety:
- Ensure all equipment is tied down and secure
- Safety PPE is worn at all times
- Safety cones are placed out beside truck and trailer
- All laws and regulations concerning the equipment are followed
- Stop equipment before adjusting
- Abide by all Georgia laws and Department of Transportation regulations while driving 2.
Supervise/Train Crews:
- Communicate to the crew what work is expected to be completed on every jobsite
- Ensure each team member is completing the work set forth by the Water Management Leader
- Train team members according to the procedures and standards set forth by the company and retrain when needed
- Hold all team members accountable for completing their job in compliance with the company’s expectations
- Maintain all efficiency hours for each property
- Train/Teach new Team Leaders the processes on leadership and proper Water Management techniques 3.
Inspections/Repairs:
- Perform all inspections, adjustments, and repairs of water management systems.
- Follow landscape plans, work orders, and direction from Client Relations Leader and Water Management Leader.
- Make a walk-through of entire property before leaving the site. Ensure that the client’s property is cleaned thoroughly of debris, trash, ties, pipe, fittings, etc. before leaving each day and when job is complete.
- Maintain each client’s property according to certain client specifications as noted in Aspire
- Utilize Weathermatic systems 4.
Equipment/Inventory Care:
- Ensure the proper care and use of hand tools and equipment issued to the team
- Report any problems with equipment to the Water Management Leader
- Ensure the proper care of issued truck and report any problems with the truck to the Water Management Leader
- Keep the truck cab and trailer free of trash and wash van as scheduled
- Responsible for loading and unloading proper equipment and materials (pipe, heads, etc) on truck in the

- Assist Water Management crews in ensuring they have proper equipment and materials (pipe, heads, etc) on truck in the
AFTERNOON
for the next day
- Assist Water Management Leader in maintaining consignment inventory used by Water Management Team
- Responsible for unloading water management debris & waste from trucks at the shop daily and/or dumpsite according to job type 5.
Contributing to the
Team Effort:
- Ensure daily time entry is completed for your crew and job work orders are completed
- Attend all meetings and team training sessions
- Maintain continual knowledge of Water Management systems to include but not limited to new Water Management procedures, water restrictions and guidelines
- Set the standard for your crew by example;

Communication:
- Keep an open line of communication with the Water Management Leader and crew
- Communicate any areas of concern with a property, problems with a team member or client with the Water Management Leader
- Communicate with the client when at the property when needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in water management maintenance and repair
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to train and develop team members
- Knowledge of Georgia laws and Department of Transportation regulations
- Ability to perform inspections, adjustments, and repairs of water management systems
- Ability to maintain equipment and inventory
