Farm Grounds Manager Kingswood Farm Newnan, GA 30263 Job Summary The Grounds Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and care of the grounds, ensuring a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment. This role involves managing landscaping, animal care, and agricultural activities while supervising a team of grounds staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equine management, animal husbandry, and farm operations. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily operations of grounds maintenance, including landscaping and irrigation systems. Oversee animal care activities, ensuring the health and well-being of all animals on property. Utilize hand tools and heavy equipment for various tasks related to grounds upkeep. Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all areas of responsibility. Train and supervise staff in proper techniques for grounds maintenance and animal care. Perform regular inspections of the property to identify areas needing attention or improvement. Maintain records of work performed, equipment usage, and supplies needed. Experience Proven experience in grounds management or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of equine care and animal husbandry practices is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate hand tools safely. Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising teams effectively.
