Landscaping & Snow Removal Position Summary:
The Exterior Zone Manager supports the managementof all active accounts and vendor partners within an assignedmarket. They provide leadership and initiative to ensure servicesare complete and client expectations are met or exceeded. Thisindividual evaluates the performance of service partners andcommunicates with the client to achieve satisfaction with our work;and fully leverages our relationships to benefit the client andKellermeyer Bergensons Services.
Job Highlights:
Landscaping & SnowRemoval experience in the New York area including understandingregional plants, maintenance service types, keen eye for qualityinspections of properties, has enhancement experience. Travelwithin the assigned market focusing on landscape and snow removalbusiness. Working with vendors and customers and conduct qualityinspections, work with account coordinators and supervisors torelay information about customer sites. Be the eyes and ears of KBSexterior within the market.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Communicate frequently with customers to ensure high qualityand service expectations are met. Proactively present and sell site enhancement ideas tocustomers. Proactively assist in resolving issues with customer servicewhen needed Conduct monthly Quality Site Assessments (QSAs) of servicepartners work on clients sites Measure properties and coordinate with estimators forlandscape& snow removalestimates Identify and communicate business development opportunities toRegional Operations Manager. Communicate weekly schedule to store managers and servicepartners Conduct pre- and post-season site inspections Coordinate new service partners to service clients in adesignated territory Pre-qualify service partners and negotiate contract terms Support compliance team to ensure proper service partneragreements are secured in a timely manner Develop and sustain long-term relationships with servicepartners to ensure consistency of service to client Provide instruction to service partners regarding clientexpectations Communicate non-contract client requests and ensure work isscheduled in a timely manner Communicate closely with office team and Regional Zone Managersand provide documentation from site visits (i.e. photos, site visitreports, etc.) Develop standard packet of information for each client toinclude highlighted scope, site map, snow stockpiling map, call innumber and introductory letter, and customer serviceopportunities Complete daily report on activities (i.e. sites visited,contacts made, issues handled, site inspection forms completed,etc.) and submit to Regional Zone Manager. Communicate billing details to client and answer anyquestions. Other tasks and duties, as assigned.
Experience & QualificationRequirements:
Minimum of 3 years of prior customer service, management andleadership experience within the organization, and the industry andlocal marketplace. Prior experience working with subcontractors andperforminglandscaping & snow removal. Ability to communicate from any location and be available totravel to each of their territorys areas with a high degree offlexibility. Ability to generate customer solutions that are on point,creative, and that stay consistent with the brand image of thecompany. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, bothinternal and external communication. Ability to network with industry and trade contacts within themarketplace. Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computersoftware applications, to include Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPointand Outlook. Proficient at estimating all services provided. Proficient at service pricing. Proficient at billing completed work.
