Job Description
Landscape Production Manage 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Stone Mountain, GA 30083 This position is the primary resource to ensure crews are performing the landscape maintenance work up to company standards, in a safe manner, and to customer expectations. This position is also the liaison between management and maintenance crews to ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to. Roles & Responsibilities Assist with daily dispatch ensuring DOT vehicle inspections and log books are completed correctly before departure and any know issues are communicated to Management for repairs. Share responsibility with other Management staff in closing shop and ensure teams have truck and equipment needs loaded for the next work day. Develops employees and, as needed, works side by side with employees to build and support a team environment. Ensures jobs are performed to Company standards, safely, and that equipment is properly maintained. Understands basic horticultural concepts of mowing, pruning, edging, etc. and works efficiently and safely at all times. Understands budget hours for each job and ensures budget hours are adhered to by teams. Works in conjunction with other management staff on recruiting new team members. Ensures a safe environment for employees, clients and the general public. Helps identify landscaping needs not included in contract and communicates those to the Account manager. Demonstrates role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting Company culture. Adheres to all Company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Required Qualifications • Prefer Bachelors degree Horticulture, Ag Science, Landscape Maintenance, Agronomy, Floriculture, Forestry, Plant and Soil Science, Environmental Design, Turf Grass or Landscape Architecture or equivalent work experience. Ability to communicate, both oral and written, in a clear concise manner. Ability to prioritize job duties and multi-task in a fast paced environment. Ability to identify and resolve client concerns to the satisfaction of the client while protecting the best interests of the Company. Strong work ethic.
