Do you see an empty flower bed as a blank canvas just waiting for your artistic touch? If so, Russell Landscape has the perfect role for you! We’re looking for a Seasonal Color Designer to lead the charge in creating jaw-dropping seasonal flower rotations for over 300 of our premier commercial properties across Metro Atlanta. From chic container gardens to grand resort entrances, you’ll design, plan, and oversee installations that turn heads and leave lasting impressions.
What You’ll Do:
Seasonal Planning & Design Craft proposals and designs for summer and winter flower rotations across 300+ accounts. Select the perfect plant varieties for color, size, sun/shade tolerance, and bloom duration—because every bloom deserves its moment to shine! Stay ahead of the curve with the latest trends in color schemes, plant varieties, and consumer preferences. Collaborate with installation teams to bring your designs to life with visually impactful bed, container, and display arrangements. Participate in weekly department meetings, bi-weekly branch meetings for all Metro Atlanta branches, and new job kick-off meetings. Installation Oversight Work closely with our Operations Manager to supervise and coach crews during flower bed prep, planting, and irrigation setup. Ensure your stunning designs are implemented accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Manage logistics for high-profile projects like traffic islands, resort entrances, and city parks—nothing’s too big or too bold! Prep paperwork and stage plants and materials each afternoon to keep projects running smoothly. Maintenance & Quality Control Manage and schedule quality control inspection routes to ensure every display stays picture-perfect. Oversee ongoing care of annual displays, including watering, fertilizing, deadheading, and replanting as needed. Diagnose and tackle challenges like pests, plant disease, or environmental stress with confidence. Maintain the highest visual standards all season long through regular on-site inspections (you’ll be out and about 3 days a week). Client & Internal Communication Present your designs directly to account managers and clients, securing approvals and wowing them with your vision. Keep clients updated on installation timelines, plant performance, and any replacements needed. Collaborate with other departments—perennials, hardscapes, irrigation—to create truly integrated, next-level landscape plans. ⸻ Why Join Russell Landscape?
