Candidate must have experience in:
- Planning and installing the following: hardscapes, planting trees/shrubs, installing sod, pavers, irrigation, drainage and grading
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, efficient use of time and resources.
- The ability to work in team environments and supervise a crew
- Be a great communicator and effective leader.
- Valid drivers license and the ability to pull a trailer with heavy equipment.
- Pesticide Applicator License preferred or ability to acquire one Our ideal candidate will provide quality service that exceeds management and client’s expectations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF FOREMAN
Project Management:
Plan, organize, and oversee landscaping projects from start to finish Interpret plans and drawings to ensure accurate execution of landscape designs. Manage schedules and allocate tasks to team members
Leadership and Team Management:
Plan and direct the working operations of the assigned crew, for daily and weekly projects or any other tasks and duties assigned by management Able to review resumes/ job inquiries, interview, hire and terminate employees as needed Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project goals and safety procedures. Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback
Site and Equipment Management:
Assist in daily preparation of trucks and equipment: secure all equipment, load and secure all plant material and hard materials required for the day Assist crew members in any preparation required for the day Provide labor associated with the preparation, excavation and installation of softscapes, hardscapes, lawns, drainage systems, sediment control, water gardens, irrigation, lighting Operate and oversee the use of equipment such as mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, etc. Ensure proper maintenance and storage of tools and machinery Maintain an organized and clean worksite while adhering to all safety standards
Client Relations & Quality Control:
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer expectations Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during projects Inspect clients property and proactively make recommendations to crew members on quality gaps Able to make suggestions to clients on property improvements
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate records of materials used, time spent, and expenses Assist in budgeting and cost management for projects Communicate with management multiple times a day, reporting issues immediately Provide daily reports
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bilingual
- English and Spanish a plus (not required) Valid US Driver’s License 2 yrs experience in landscape construction with experience in retaining walls, patios, edging, planting, drainage, grading and sodding Experience working and maintaining regional plants.
Perennials, annuals, shrubs, evergreens, trees and different types of sod Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work outdoors, walking and moving during extreme hot and cold temperatures while wearing safety clothing. Able to operate a variety of mechanical equipment and vehicles A working Smart phone to download company apps
