Horticulture Full Job Description Enhancement Manager Reports To:
Maintenance Division Manager Summary/Objective:
The Enhancement Manager Schedules, supervises, coordinates, and leads activities related to individual enhancement crews producing landscape projects for maintenance customers and construction project punch outs, on time and on budget.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Drives project schedule to beat deadlines and communicates progress with Account Manager and Maintenance Operations Manager Plans each project based on the awarded proposal, working with Account Manager, plant buyer and subcontractors Supervises and coordinates all work performed Responsible for material purchases and buyouts for all projects under your management Ensures quality exceeds the client’s standards Ensures proper use/maintenance of all equipment used by enhancement crews Reads and accurately interprets landscape plans for installations Ensure proper allocation of materials for jobs performed Assist Account Mangers with estimates and designs to drive enhancement sales Work with suppliers with custom growing to obtain best material and pricing Coordinate and schedule subcontractors as needed for work completion Manage 2-3 enhancement crews Manage 1-2 irrigation repair technicians Manage 1-2 spray technicians
Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience in plant materials and proper planting practices Knowledge of Aspire a plus Must be able to multitask and prioritize A valid Driver’s License An associate degree will be considered, along with relevant experience A landscape professional with a positive and engaging interpersonal style Strong horticulture knowledge and license is preferred Two to five years of prior experience with a professional landscape management firm Knowledge of southern climate horticultural practices and high-level property maintenance experience a plus Superb communication skills; knowledge of Spanish a plus
