Landscape/ Hardscape Lead Martin Landscaping & Design, LLC Ashland, MO 65010 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape/Hardscape Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of landscaping tasks, including the installation and maintenance of landscapes, hardscapes, and outdoor features. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape design principles and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. The Landscape/Hardscape Lead will work on various projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications. Duties Operate heavy equipment for land clearing, grading, and excavation as needed. Install and maintain landscaping features such as plants, trees, shrubs, and turf. Construct hardscapes including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures using masonry techniques. Fabricate custom landscape elements based on project schematics and design plans. Perform concrete finishing tasks for pathways and other surfaces as required. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Follow safety protocols while working in various weather conditions and environments. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition to ensure efficiency on the job site. Experience Proven experience in landscape installation or maintenance is preferred. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is essential; certification is a plus. Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and concrete finishing processes is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to landscape design projects. A solid understanding of construction site protocols and safety regulations is required. $20.00 – $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
