05/09/2025 The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent performs difficult semiskilled work supervising and participating in the maintenance of a public golf course and related facilities. Work is performed under the regular supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent. Supervision is exercised over full-time and part-time greenskeeping staff. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from high school or GED; Considerable experience in the field; Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered; Valid NC Driver’s license and good driving record; Pesticide application license (or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment). Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 3:00 pm. 40 hours per week. Paid bi-weekly. The Golf Course is open 7-days a week and some weekend work will be required throughout the year.
