Your First Priorities:

Jump into daily course operations and get to know the team Take the lead on fertilizer and pesticide applications Learn and help maintain our new Rainbird IC irrigation system Motivate and supervise crew members to meet high performance standards Begin demonstrating leadership qualities and building trust within the team

Key Responsibilities & Skills You’ll Use Daily:

Maintain and improve all course areas: greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and native zones Calibrate and apply fertilizers and chemicals responsibly and accurately Troubleshoot irrigation issues and assist with repairs Operate a wide range of turf maintenance equipment Keep detailed records and inventory of applications Lead and train staff, organize schedules, and help foster a productive crew culture Support major projects and renovations Prioritize safety, efficiency, and environmental stewardship

Education & Experience:
Preferred Education:

Certificate, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Turf Management or related field

Experience:

Entry-level to 3 years ideal; candidates with 4-7 years and strong experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

License:

NC pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary:

$60,000 – $65,000
