Lawncare/Landscaping Supervisor Mountaineer Maintenance Inc. Watauga County, NC Mountaineer Maintenance is a growing company seeking a landscaping supervisor who is a reliable and punctual employee. The successful candidate(s) must me able to perform all job responsibilities. Responsibilities for

Landscaping Team Leader:

Abide by company handbook Be on time Take direction and give direction Work with others Must have the ability to organize, plan, and lead team members to successfully accomplish daily activities. Adapt to all types of weather conditions Be able to lift at least 50 pounds Be proficient with all types of lawn care and landscaping equipment including walk behind mowers, string trimmers, gas trimmers, blowers, chainsaw, etc. Keep an organized job site and truck Clean Work trucks and trailers daily of garbage Fuel equipment daily Keep shop and yard area organized Interacts with clients and vendors in a professional manner Leads co-workers in a positive manor to achieve successful results. Skills Cleanup services such as spring cleanup, leaf removal, and bed cleanup Familiar with other maintenance services such as pruning, weed control, mulching, etc. Ability to perform preventative maintenance on mowers and other equipment Operate mowing equipment (Including zero turn and Walk-behind), lawn equipment, larger trucks, and pulling trailers Lawn mowing services such as mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing. Must be able to operate and maneuver large trucks with enclosed tag along trailers. Must have 3 years experience in a supervisory position. Experience with timber and block retaining wall construction, hardscape installation, concrete and landscaping installations is a plus. Experience with operating and hauling heavy equipment (skidsteer loader, trackhoe, etc.).

Requirements:

Valid Drivers License (Clean driving record) Pass Background check and drug test (10 Panel) Must have experience with commercial mowing operations Proficient using walk-behind mowers, trimmers, blowers Able to maneuver truck and 12′-14′ enclosed mowing trailer. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience working in a similar position.
