Full-Time, Year-Round Position Summary:

Belko Landscaping is seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Hardscape Foreman to supervise hardscape installation crews and oversee the successful execution of outdoor construction projects. This field-based leadership role is critical to ensuring high-quality installation of patios, retaining walls, walkways, outdoor kitchens, and other stone and masonry features. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of site layout, equipment handling, and crew supervision with the ability to manage multiple jobs at once.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution & Oversight

• Direct daily installation of hardscape features including pavers, walls, fire pits, outdoor living elements, and site prep.
• Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade elevations.
• Ensure all work meets project specifications, industry standards, and customer expectations.
• Conduct layout and set grades using lasers and string lines.

Crew Leadership Supervise and motivate hardscape crew members on multiple job sites. Delegate tasks to ensure job flow, production targets, and safety standards are met. Provide training and mentorship to crew members on installation techniques and equipment use. Complete daily work reports, time tracking, and material usage logs. Equipment & Site Management

• Operate skid steers, excavators, compactors, and other hardscape equipment.
• Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure staging is optimized for efficient workflow.
• Maintain and inspect equipment for safe and effective operation. Customer Service & Communication
• Interface with clients on-site to review job progress and handle concerns.
• Communicate effectively with office staff and operations team regarding timelines and materials.
• Take photos before, during, after and complete documentation for billing and records. Quoting & Estimating
• Visit potential job sites to assist with estimating time, labor, and material costs.
• Collaborate with the administrative team to review and refine quotes.
• Support the transition from awarded contract to active project planning. Additional Responsibilities
• Perform any other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as needed to support the effective operations of Belko Landscaping . Flexibility, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset are essential to success in this role.
• Due to the nature of seasonal operations, this position will require availability during nights and weekends, especially during snow events or time-sensitive lawn care schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on hardscape installation experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in operating hardscape equipment and tools.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
