Hardscape Landscape Foreman East Mountain Services LLC Sparta, NJ 07871 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated hardscape Forman / laborer Supervisor to lead our hardscape team in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape construction, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality work. As a foreman, you will oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards and help the other crew member’s with the task at hand. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the landscaping crew, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks, including planting, trimming, and installation of hardscapes. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Collaborate with team members on building structures such as decks, patios, and retaining walls using masonry techniques. Read and interpret schematics to execute landscape designs accurately. Perform electrical work as needed for outdoor lighting installations or irrigation systems. Apply caulking and other sealing methods to enhance the durability of constructed features. Assist in construction estimating by providing input on material needs and labor requirements for upcoming projects. Train new team members on best practices in landscaping techniques and safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape construction or related fields. Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and equipment used in landscaping projects. Knowledge of masonry techniques and ability to build various landscape features. Familiarity with electrical systems related to outdoor installations is a plus. Strong understanding of construction inspection processes and ability to ensure compliance with safety standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results in all projects.
