Job Description
Duties:
Engage in year-round supervision and oversight of workers engaged in landscape, outdoor living design/build construction, and winter maintenance projects. Ensure quality and timely completion of project requirements. Direct and organize the daily work of teams of subordinate laborers. Inspects completed work to ensure conformance to requirements. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Operates equipment and ensures safety of equipment and tool usage. Reviews blueprints and plans projects, identifies problems, coordinates with managers regarding feasibility, and communicates with clients. Trains new hires, mentors and coaches subordinates (2 laborers). Approves time and hours for payroll. Oversees installation or maintenance of grounds of property, including winter maintenance (pruning, snow removal), firewood production and delivery, tree removal, and projects including restoring existing landscapes, lighting, and water features. Load and unload material and equipment; engages in equipment and facility maintenance, as needed. Operate company vehicle to worksite. Engage in short-term travel to unanticipated client sites in Monroe, Ontario, Wayne, and Livingston counties.
Requires:
At least twelves (12) months of experience in landscape labor (any title), including experience in lighting and water features. Must engage in short-term travel to unanticipated client sites in Monroe, Ontario, Wayne, and Livingston counties.
Location:
1986 Bennett Rd., Victor, NY 14564 and various unanticipated worksites in Monroe, Ontario, Wayne, and Livingston counties.
