Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Install Superintendent to lead and oversee installation crews on a variety of commercial and residential landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily crew management, job site coordination, and ensuring that all work meets or exceeds company quality standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Crew Management:
Supervise and direct multiple landscape installation crews. Assign daily tasks and manage productivity to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. Train, mentor, and support crew members in safe and effective installation practices.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets company standards and design specifications. Identify and resolve installation issues promptly to maintain quality and client satisfaction. Maintain documentation and communicate deficiencies or rework needs with the project manager.
Project Coordination:
Review project plans, specifications, and timelines to ensure accurate execution. Coordinate equipment, materials, and subcontractors as needed to keep the project moving smoothly. Communicate daily with office staff regarding progress, changes, and needs.
Health & Safety:
Enforce safety protocols and procedures on job sites. Conduct or participate in safety meetings and ensure crews are compliant with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in landscape construction or installation, with at least 2 year in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of landscape materials, irrigation systems, plant installation, and hardscape construction. Ability to read and interpret landscape blueprints, construction documents, and site layouts. Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and manage job site logistics. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required). Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
