out of 5 stars 1 Town Center CT, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928 Join Our Team as the Landscape & Grounds Manager The Town of Hilton Head Island is seeking an experienced and skilled Landscape & Grounds Manager to oversee the Facilities Management workplan, ensuring effective landscape and grounds management of Town properties, roads Rights-of-Ways and special landscaping projects. What You Will Do Directs, oversees, and participates in the development of the Facilities Management landscape and grounds maintenance workplan, and special projects Plans, organizes, directs, and supervises maintenance activities including, road, pathway, and median maintenance, Town facilities ground maintenance, waste collection, and litter control Manages landscape and grounds maintenance projects and programs for pathways, parks, open areas, and roadway landscapes Provides supervision to assigned staff Works closely with and coordinates efforts with the Town’s IPM Specialist Develops and procures landscape, litter control and maintenance contracts responding to requests from the public, and inspecting work completed Participates in preparation and administration of assigned division’s budget Develops contracts and projects involving landscape and grounds maintenance of Town properties and horizontal facilities Qualifications Associate degree in related field Five (5) years of related experience to include landscape and grounds management, and some supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Valid Driver’s License May be required to work varied work schedule What We Offer A supportive environment where your skills and contributions are valued A comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability, vacation and sick leave, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, a healthcare reimbursement arrangement, and a generous matching 401(k) plan Relocation assistance is available Why Work with Us?
