Garden Center Supervisor Confidential Saint Matthews, SC 29135 Are you passionate about plants and love working outdoors? Are you looking for an opportunity to grow—both literally and professionally—with a small, hands-on business? We’re looking for a Garden Center Supervisor to help lead daily operations at our small but busy nursery in Sandy Run, South Carolina. What You’ll Be Doing:
Overseeing daily operations at the garden center and nursery Assisting customers with plant selections and answering plant care questions Managing inventory, receiving deliveries, and maintaining plant health Training and leading seasonal or part-time staff Supporting propagation, potting, and general nursery maintenance Helping plan and organize seasonal displays and promotions
What We’re Looking For:
A strong interest in plants, gardening, or horticulture Previous experience in a garden center, nursery, or landscaping role is a plus, but not required Positive attitude, reliability, and a desire to learn are more important than experience A self-starter who can take initiative, work independently, and lead others confidently Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks Comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Excellent customer service and communication skills
