Full Job Description Position Overview:

As a Landscape Foreman, you will play a key role in bringing our design concepts to life, transforming landscapes into beautiful, functional, and sustainable environments. You will work closely with our project managers, designers, and construction crew to execute various landscape construction tasks, ensuring the successful completion of projects on time and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Implement Landscape Designs:

Interpret and execute landscape designs provided by the project team, ensuring precise implementation of hardscape and softscape elements, including grading, planting, irrigation, and installation of various materials (e.g., pavers, retaining walls, fences).

Site Preparation:

Prepare project sites by clearing debris, grading terrain, and conducting necessary soil testing to create a solid foundation for landscape installations.

Hardscape Installation :

Skillfully install various hardscape features such as patios, pathways, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, water features, and other elements to add functionality and aesthetics to outdoor spaces.

Planting and Softscape Installation :

Select, arrange, and install trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation, adhering to landscape design plans and ensuring proper planting techniques for optimal growth and sustainability.

Irrigation Systems :

Install and maintain irrigation systems, including sprinklers and drip lines, to ensure proper water distribution and efficient water usage for landscape elements.

Material Management :

Coordinate the delivery and handling of construction materials and ensure their proper usage and storage on-site.

Equipment and Tool Operation :

Operate various landscape construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently, such as excavators, bobcats, power saws, and other machinery.

Team Collaboration :

Work closely with project managers, landscape designers, and other team members to effectively communicate project status, address challenges, and collaborate on creative solutions.

Requirements:

Previous Experience in landscape construction, hardscaping, and softscape installation. specific knowledge of pavers, irrigation, masonry, and retaining wall construction. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate

Physical Endurance:

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.

Team Player:

Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Safety Awareness:

Strict adherence to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Ability to read and understand blueprints, landscape designs, and technical drawings. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.
