Job Summary:
We seek a skilled and experienced Irrigation and Outdoor Lighting Manager to oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of irrigation systems and outdoor lighting projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscaping, project management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Planning:
Develop and implement irrigation and lighting plans that meet client needs and site specifications.
Project Management:
Oversee the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems and outdoor lighting, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Team Leadership:
Manage and train a team of technicians and landscapers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
Sales:
Work with clients on selling system upgrades, repairs, and yearly maintenance contracts.
Client Relations:
Communicate with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates, job scheduling, and ensure satisfaction with the final product.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections to ensure systems function correctly and meet quality standards.
Troubleshooting:
Promptly identify and resolve issues with irrigation systems and lighting installations.
Inventory Management:
Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, ensuring availability for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Compliance:
Ensure all installations comply with local regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or 5+ years of landscape industry field experience preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in irrigation and outdoor lighting management.
Skills:
Strong project management, leadership, conflict management, and communication skills. Proficiency in landscape software and knowledge of irrigation systems and lighting technologies.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications in irrigation and lighting systems are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
